Born in Odense, Denmark in 1958.
Educated in drawing
and advanced in classical drawing at “the Art Academy of Fyn” from
1982 – 83.
Self-educated painter.
In 1987 he moved to the
city of Vejen, Denmark where he still lives and enjoys painting in his
studio.
Even
though Bo Worsoe was born and educated on the Danish island of Fyn,
the soft and gentle issues have never dominated his paintings. They
may well comprise elements of beauty, violence and danger at the same
time.
Bo Worsoe can rightfully call himself an
figurativ painter. He paints
his deep feelings and dreams to the spectator without interpretation.
It is up to the spectator himself to find his personal experience in
the painting.
Nature
is his inexhaustible source of inspiration in close competition with
woman. In the female body he discovers the erotic and the sensuous and
the perfect shapes. The soft female curves are also reflected in the
surrealistic landscapes where everything seems to merge into one big
living organism.
His
selection of colors are nature’s own: the glowing yellow of fire and
the red and orange together with the blue scale of water from the
deepest dark black/blue to the finest light shades of blue.
